STATE INITIATIVES What started off as a pilot project in the year 2000, became a reality when the State Govt. decided that the pilot application developed and demonstrated by RAMINFO would meet the objectives of the e-governance system envisioned by Shri N Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of the State. RAMINFO quickly put together an application that demonstrated its understanding of the varied, complex and demanding needs of the various State Government departments. The E-seva application addresses more than 15 different citizen services like utility bill payments, issue of birth/nativity certificates, issue of licenses and renewals, ticket reservations for public transportation etc which are integrated through one common interface that provides efficient & fast citizen service delivery, enables faster revenue collections for the Government besides saving a of of time for the citizens of the State. In phase I, the E-seva project has been implemented in the twin cities of Hyderabad/Secunderabad across 18 locations. Plans are afoot to reach the benefits of this system to other parts of the State too. More details can be found at www.esevaonline.com
